With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Allen Touchie in Nanaimo, British Columbia, born in Port Alberni, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2026 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Brown (Touchie) and Matthew Brown; and his siblings, Elizabeth McEwan, Jeff Touchie and Eddie Touchie.
He is survived by: his siblings, John Touchie, Lionel Brown, Michael Touchie and Rosalee Brown; his children, Lee Touchie, Asya Touchie, Matthew Touchie, Brian Touchie and Wonda Touchie; and his grandchildren, Shakaya Mack, Thearon Mack, Octavia Touchie Jaiden (Matthew Touchie JR), Edith Touchie and Thomas Touchie Shauntia (Asya Touchie). He is also survived by his family, friends.
