Pat Haugen Obituary

The passing of Pat Haugen (Nanaimo, British Columbia) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 20, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Pat Haugen to show support.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Pat is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Pat's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lou Strandberg and Ida Strandberg of Prince George; and her husband Ken.

Instead of flowers, which Pat loved to photograph in their natural setting, please make a donation in Pat's memory to a charity of your choice.

PhabGuy wrote a sympathy message

“Pat was a very classy, caring and passionate person who always had supportive and kind things to say about and for other people. She was humble but very capable and more than willing to help out. She was among the group that first met to found the Ladysmith Camera Club. She loved photography and would repeatedly insist that Ken "stop the car" and go back so Pat could take that "shot" she saw in passing along the road. Road trips always took twice as long with Pat as a passenger! RIP, Pat. 💕”
