He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Loretta Joyce Graham Fogwill (Douglas) and Alwyn Williams (Doreen); his brother Wade (Mary); and his aunts, Norma Miller, Marcia Simpson, Sharon and Toronto.

“I first met roger in 1988 in toronto. We shared mutual interests in ballet, singing, photography, and storytelling. We had a falling out when he moved from his west end condo to new westminster. I am currently editing my possessions and wished to give roger a copy of " the italian gentleman". I was shocked of his death and regret my failure to make amends. What a wonderful memorial photograph! I took many photographs of roger but none that showed so well his good looks . Richards vancouver”
