It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valentina Horacek (New Westminster, British Columbia), who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bohumil Budinsky and Valentina Budinska. She is survived by: her husband Jasmir Horacek; her sister Marie Spolkova; her daughters, Marketa van den Elzen and Ivana Horacek; her son-in-law Sebastien Launay; and her grandchildren, Ray, Elodie and Benjamin.
