She was loved and cherished by many people including : her sister Jean Miller; her husband Don Kallevig; her children, Sonja Lageweg (Gordon) and David Kallevig (Kelly); her grandsons, Dawson Kallevig and Caleb Kallevig; her sisters, Grace Snipstead and Lillian Larson (Rod); her sisters-in-law, Verna Kallevig, Lorraine McKay (Bob) and Marlene Worrall; and her parents, Nels Grue and Sofia Grue. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes donations to Union Gospel Mission in Vancouver, BC as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
