He is survived by: his wife Eva McPhee; his children, Dan (Jean), Bev (Bob) and Mike; his grandchildren, Chad, Shae, Julia, Ali and Travis; his children, Rian, Joel, Ashley, Heather, Dane and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Ara, Jaime, Kensie, Kofi, Lucy and Jack; his grandchildren, Rae, Harper and Nyah; and his siblings, Kitch Elton (Valda), Winston Elton (Lora), Brent Elton (Lorraine) and Carol Cahoun.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Gary's honour to a charity of your choice—a gesture that would surely make him smile.
