Maria leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Maria’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Maria will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her husband Giuseppe Rucci (Joe); her children, Cristina and John; her daughter-in-law Debbie; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Samuel, Travis, Sophia and Elijah.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish (2725 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver, BC V7N3J2).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Maria's memory to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation / North Shore Hospice or Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
