It is with sadness that the passing of Richard Ira Stoney (North Vancouver, British Columbia) is shared. Richard, born on April 1, 1941 in New Westminster, British Columbia, passed away on August 12, 2026. Richard will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Richard by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Stoney and Mildred Stoney; and his sister Frances Abbey. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Abbey, Grace Burch and Gloria Fournier. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
