She was predeceased by: her parents, John Szakacs and Mary Szakacs (Farkas); her husbands, Jeno Horvath of Budapest and Don Shenton; her sister Joyce Szakacs; and her siblings-in-law, Myrtle Szakacs and Joe Howden.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alice Howden and David Szakacs (Jan). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins as well as friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Memorial Funeral Service (1505 Lillooet Rd, North Vancouver, BC V7J2J1).
