She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Roman R. and Mercedes Santos; and her husband Genaro T. Yupangco. She is survived by: her children, Sonny (Leonor), Rocky (Maritess), Genaro (Jo-Ann), Carolina (Scott), Ting (Michelle), Tinnette (Dan), Jim, Dominique (Craig) and JB (Sachiko); her grandchildren, Francis, Mike, Nikki, Cara, Peter, Paolo, Marguerite, Ayrton, Ian, Gaby, Jayde, Nathaniel, Damian, Tyler and Martina; and her great grandchildren, Raul, Ava, Alex, Aurora, Solyn, Sebastian and Kylo.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Parish (1430 W 38th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6M1R4). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery (15694 32 Ave, Surrey, BC V3Z0C6).
