With sadness, we share the passing of Wendy Metcalf Roy (North Vancouver, British Columbia). Wendy, born on February 7, 1944, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Wendy for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Wendy’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her brother Paul; and her parents, Frederick George Metcalf and Gabrielle Joan Hawkins. She is survived by: her sons, Aidan and Giles; her daughters-in-law, Claire and Leila; and her grandchildren, Asha and Caelan.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Memorial's Boal Chapel (1505 Lillooet Rd, North Vancouver, BC V7J2J1).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the BC Cancer Foundation, Parkinson Society BC, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Plan International Canada, or a charity of your choosing in her name.
