He was predeceased by: his parents, David Mathieson and Betty Mathieson (Sinton); and his siblings, David, Elizabeth and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Mathieson (Webb); his daughters, Lynanne Fortin (Mathieson), Jan Nusche (Mathieson), Sue Wazny (Mathieson) and Margie Mathieson (Pat Somerville); and his grandchildren, Shawn (Brittany), Rayne, Carleigh, Ryan O'Leary, Matthew, Caitlin, Andrew, Mark Nusche, Trevor (Tania), Megan Yerxa and Callum Mathieson.
Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Allan to the BC Cancer Agency, the Alzheimer Society of BC or to the charity of their choice.
