With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gudmunder Gudlaugsson of Oliver, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Gudmunder shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gudmunder farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma and Jon; and his siblings, Mack, Dori and Bara.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Gudlaugsson.

Memorial Gifts The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to charities that help underfunded families provide resources to children who have interests in sports or educational paths that they otherwise wouldn't have access to.
