It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Wray Smith of Osoyoos, British Columbia, born in Regina, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen Peterman; and his brother Donald Smith. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Schnurr; his sister Geraldine Wurst (Gerald); his daughters, Linda Smith, Sandra Ang and Sharon Elliott (Barbara Lane); his grandchildren, Landis, Kelly, Brayden, Lauren and Carmen; his niece Diane Turner; his nephews, Len Wurst, Neil Wurst and Brian Wurst; and his stepdaughters, Judy Schnurr, Carol Dorn (Tim) and Tina Dillon (Greg).
