We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2021, at the age of 99, Stanley Stodola of Osoyoos, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary and Anton; his wife Rosemarie; his siblings, Annie, Adelaide, Jennie, Nancy, Peter, Joseph, John and Mike; and his daughter Sherrie Lessard.

He is survived by: his sons, Bernard (Mary) and Chris (Lori); his son-in-law Art; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Michael, Matthew, Erin, Jocelyn, Nicholas and Joel; his great grandchildren, Dominic and Damian; his siblings, Doris, Stella, Tina, Vicki, Steve, Joe and Julian; and his close friends, Sherry Mallach, Val and Jean. He is also survived by 16 children.

I worked there for three years under Stan's helm, and enjoyed my time there immensely. Stan Stodola as publisher and editor was quite a unique character, which melded well with my own sense of individuality :) It was a long time ago, yet it feels like it was just yesterday.”
