With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Max Pertti Hahto in Parksville, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2025 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Niilo Matias Hahto and Kerttu Helena Virtanen Hahto; his brother Erik; and his grandson Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Marie Marguerite Masson; his close friend Ruth; his grandchildren, Amy, Paul, Brianne, Debbie, Tara, Christine and Justin; his great grandchildren, Niilo, Everly, Ayla, Paavi, Hudson, Noemi, Forrest and Parker; his children, Sylvie (Brad), Derek (Teresita) and Mark (Kirsty); Sylvie, Derek and Mark.
