She is survived by: her children, Laurele Croteau (George) of Courtenay, BC, Renita Cody (Terry) of Creston, BC, Greg Girard and Colin Girard of Merritt, BC; her siblings, Conrad Prefontaine and Terry McMurtrie (Raleigh); and her sisters-in-law, Celine Prefontaine, Jenny Prefontaine and Odile Girard. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
