Gail (Hunt) Abernethy Obituary
The memory of Gail (Hunt) Abernethy (Peachland, British Columbia), born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Audrey and Bill; and her sister Joanne Malko. She is survived by: her sister Pat; her brother-in-law Don Maier of Calgary; her brother Gerald; her sister-in-law Debbie Hunt of Edmonton; her nieces and nephews, Barbara, Colin, Kim, Kelly, Deana and Darren; and her stepchildren, Jane, Winston, Barbara and Diana. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Plus Activity Center (5672 Beach Ave, Peachland, BC V0H1X6).
