With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Gilbert Rahier in Penticton, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2026 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his wife Eva; his children, Cindy and Gregory; his parents, Servais and Isabella; and his siblings, Charlie, William, John (Marguerite), Winnifred, Catherine Lillie (Earl), Angela Quinn (Andy), Violet Sawchenko (Alex), Marguerite Crowe (Cecil) and Theresa Hine (Art).
He is survived by: his children, Wendy, Brenda and Blaine; his grandchildren, Benjamin (Shawna), Adam, Rachel, Rich (Janessa) and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Owen, Brenna and Levi; and his daughter-in-law April. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
