She was predeceased by: her parents, James MacKay and Loella MacKay; her brother Edward MacKay; and her former husband Joseph Nicholls. She is survived by: her husband Roy Barnhart; and her children, Marilyn Croney of Calgary, AB, Heather Beattie (Fred) of Denver, CO, Bruce Nicholls (Pat) of Salmon Arm, BC, Ian Nicholls (Jackie) of Edmonton, AB and Glenn Nicholls (Carol) of Kelowna, BC. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
