She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Wilford Bowes and Bernice Bowes; her grandson Luke Wiens; her husband Dave; her children, Dawn Wiens (Mark), Teri Leardo and Scott; her grandchildren, Bobbi, Allen (Maxime), Laz Wiens, Rachel Quarry (Teri) and Rylan Gamble (Scott); and her sister Laureen Valair (Verne). She was also cherished by family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 25th 2023 at 1:30 PM at the Summerland United Church (13204 HENRY RD, Summerland, BC V0H1Z0).
