With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel Blocka (Penticton, British Columbia), who passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Mabel may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laurel Peters (Chris), Janice Blocka (Peter Barnes) and Ellen Robertson (Stewart); her grandchildren, Tyler Robertson, April Barnes and Jack Barnes; and her sister-in-law Betty Pindera (Joe).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at 12803 Atkinson Rd, Summerland, BC V0H1Z4.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Prince George Rotary Hospice House or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
