He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Ethel; and his siblings, Lydia, Mary and Jim.
He is survived by: his children, Angela of Edmonton, AB, Russel of Whitecourt, AB, Reese (Tasmin) of Ottawa, ON, Ross (Vanessa) of Sherwood Park, AB and Ryan of Edmonton, AB; his siblings, Martha Gallagher, Tom Richards (Jo-Ann) and Lois Machtaler (Brian); his stepdaughter Monique Holmes-Ible; and his former wife Alana of Williams Lake, BC. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Poppy Fund of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 155, Greenwood, BC.
