It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Irene Merritt (Penticton, British Columbia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Barnett and Kathleen Barnett; and her husband Herb. She is survived by : her sister Nancy Alwart (Hans); her sons, Gary Merritt (Dawn) and Ken Merritt (Kelly); her grandchildren, Andrea Spittal (Colin), Shayna Shulman (Josh), Evan Merritt (Simone) and Nathan Merritt; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Landen Spittal, Stone and Mavora Shulman.
