He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, Marta and Stanislaw; and his sister Ludwika. He is survived by: his children, Bernadette (Don) of Edmonton, AB and Leon (Susan) of Regina, SK; his grandchildren, Devlin, Logan, Martina and Annabell; and his sisters, Roma of Australia and Klementine of Richmond, BC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
