It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan John Arthur McGill (Port Alberni, British Columbia), born in Victoria, British Columbia, who passed away on January 23, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan F. McGill and Peggy McGill. He is survived by: his children, Katherine (Jeffery) and Anthony; his stepchildren, Kelly (George), Stacey (Chris) and Chris (Michelle); his siblings, Ken, Ruth and Margaret; his nephew Cameron; his niece Jamie; his grandson Henry Alan McGill-Loucks; and his wife Mary Margetis.

Community groups were given generous donations anonymously.
