She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Rolland; her husband Elton; her mother Audrey; her siblings, Doug (Mary), Bob (Lynn), Rick, Judy (Ernie), Wendy (Pat) and Melody (Don); her children, Randy, Terra (Mike), Tania (Matt) and Raymond; her stepdaughters, Karen (Mike) and Kathy (Joe); and her grandchildren, Adrienne, Justin, Chantelle, Dylan, Josh, Jamie, Kennedy, Samantha, Paige and Matthew. She was also cherished by 5 great-grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Candy's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
