With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don Deforest (Port Alberni, British Columbia), who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cec Deforest and Flo Deforest; his siblings, Elaine and Ron; and his in-laws, Bert and Lois MacIntosh.

He is survived by : his daughter Kaitlyn; his son-in-law Dave Johnston; his granddaughter Charlee; and his siblings, Sharon Mather (Rob), Marlane Butchart (Bob), Diane Dobson (Pete) and Wayne. He is also survived by extended family and his many close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Athletic Hall (3727 Roger St, Port Alberni, BC V9Y8J4).
