He is survived by: his wife Ida; his sons, Doug of Lake Cowichan and Darryl (Melanie) of Prince George; his grandchildren, Devin of Parksville, Kaylee, Maylin and Prince George; his brother Roger (Marian); and also, Kirsten, Catherine, Barry and Darlene.
