She was predeceased by: her husband Rod; and her son Robert Mitchell Hewson. She is survived by: her children, Larry Hewson and Valorie Smith (Doug); her grandchildren, Katinna Savard (J. J.) and Jamie Smith (Samantha); and her great grandchildren, Riley, Braden, Nevaeh and Gabe.
