It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Emma Elander (Port Alberni, British Columbia), born in Victoria, British Columbia, who passed away on July 20, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Peterson and Algot Peterson; and her husband Roger. She is survived by: her daughter Lana Dittkowski (Harald); her granddaughter Tanya Dittkowski (Andy Horne); her great grandchildren, Marcus Magnussen and Liam Magnussen; her grandson Christopher Dittkowski (Brittany Prudhomme); her great grandchild Parker Dittkowski; her sister Alice Weber; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Lewis and Gary Elander (Pat). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
