He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bouchard and Dora Bouchard; his son Phillip; his sister Alice Schifferns; and his great grandchild Baby Grayson.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Allan, Debbie and Lisa (Terry); his grandchildren, Jenny (Brent), Collin, Stacie (John), Michael (Daisy), Shallan (Celia), Katie and Kody; his great grandchildren, Tegan, Devon, Maddie, Brielle, Caleb and Olivia; and his siblings, Lois Nash (Ernie) and Marcel Bouchard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
