Anke Callowhill Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anke Callowhill (Port Coquitlam, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anke Callowhill to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sjoerd Gerbrandy and Anna Gerbrandy; her husband Bryan; her children, Erika (Steven Comin), Warren and Roberta Baran (Kevin); her grandson David Baran (Larissa); her great grandchild Jakob; and her siblings, Ralph Gerbrandy (Chris) and Maritza Gerbrandy.

After suffering a serious stroke in spring 2020, she dealt with isolation under pandemic restrictions while she adjusted to her new physical limitations.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society of BC (https://admin.alzheimer.ca) in her honour — and in memory of our parents' everlasting love for each other.
