It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Schwab (Port Coquitlam, British Columbia), who passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Schwab; and her siblings, Mickey Chatterly, Sophie Stallard, Peter, Billy and Michael Baranosky.

She is survived by: her siblings, Margi McConville, Anne MacNeil and Johnny Baranosky; her daughters, Carol Long and Ardell Lysohirka; her son-in-law Derek Silk; her grandson Doug Long (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Lyndon, Corbin and Kerrington; her grandson Derrick Long (Jenny); her great grandchildren, Annika and Penny Helen; her grandson Corey Lysohirka (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Drew and Kierra; her grandson Chad Lysohirka (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Charlye, Denver and Henry. She is also survived by four grandsons and ten great-grandchildren.
