He is survived by: his stepdaughter Karen Costain; his children, John Scott Jacobs and Jennifer Jacobs; his grandchildren, Michelle Jacobs and Bryan Costain; and his siblings, Judy, Jimmy, Tommy, Ricky, Linda, Leslie, Michael, Mark, Mathew, Joseph, Geraldine, Lucy, Veronica and Belinda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews plus extended family.
