With solemn reverence, we commemorate Desmond Barrett of Port Moody, British Columbia, born in Vancouver, British Columbia, whose life came to an end on May 8, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. Though Desmond may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Desmond touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia; his daughters, Sandra (David) and Shelley (Marc); and his grandchildren, Paul and Avery.
