He was predeceased by: his parents, James Friel and Kathleen Friel. He is survived by: his wife April; his brothers, Charlie, Kevin and Brendan; his granddaughter Sara; his siblings, Margaret, Don, Niall and Mary; his children, Elma (Bryan), Sarah and James (Marie); his grandchildren, Andrew, Jaci and Ciara; and his great grandchildren, London, Alfie, Maya and Kobe.
