It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hubert Clifton Townsend (Pouce Coupe, British Columbia), born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 23, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifton Townsend and Frances; and his sisters, Iola Wardle, Selina McLaren and Marlene Hageman (Keith).

He is survived by : his wife Glenna; his sons, Gerry (Liz), Stan (Lynda), Les (Cindy), Vern (Violeta) and Ted; his siblings, Geraldine McNinch (Cy), Shirley Ross, Barb Harris, Betty Praud (Dennis) and Bill Townsend (Edwina); and his half-brother Bryan Townsend. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
