She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Orr and Mabel Orr; her brothers, Lawrence and Clifford; her husband Douglas Macnair; her son-in-law Roger Randall; her grandchildren, Sherry (Jeff) and Ian (Christy); her great grandchildren, Stuart, Regan, Danica and Jared; and her nephews, Wayne, Barry and Edward Orr.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley; her pet Taffy; her caregiver Kian Healy; and her close friends, Colleen, Dave, Dawn, Charlene, Shelley, Jennifer, Cathy, Drei, Debbie, Carla, Noella, Krista and Susan.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gertie's name can be made to Four Tides Hospice Society or BC SPCA.
