She was predeceased by : her stepson Lawrence Sketchley. She is survived by : her husband Raymond Sketchley; her brother Allan (Jackie); and her stepchildren, Clay (Deborah), Janet (Bob) and Tom (Kerri). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

“I am so sorry to hear about Heathers passing. Both Ray and Heather have been the Kindest, Friendliest . Loving and community giving people I have met.I was out of town late sept and early oct so I missed hearing about her passing and funeral.I am sure all of Powell River felt a sadness the day of her passing and didnt know why. Heather is such a huge loss to the community. I know I miss her. My Love and Prayers are going out to Ray and her family...Robert Falls”
