With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Ann Southern (Powell River, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2026 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Len, Les, Ron and Jim; and her parents, Vera Shelton and Jim Shelton.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Dave, Mike (Natascha), Don (Tanya) and Michele; and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Alex, Nick, Olivia, Wade, Sophie, Niven, Christoph and Adriana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
