It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Berendina Westerik (Prince George, British Columbia), who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Berend Westerik and Jentje Westerik (Deuseman); and her siblings, Johan, Aaltje, Bernhard, Roelina, Jentje and Berend.

She is survived by : her son Klaas Bouwman (Titiana); her granddaughter Sarina; her son Randolf Bouwman (Mary); her grandchildren, Christine Hauff (Nick), Philip Bouwman (Adrianne) and Eric Bouwman (Bailey); and her great grandchildren, Owen, Claire Hauff, Walter and Anna Bouwman.
