He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his parents, Melvin Sutton and Dagmar Sutton; and his siblings, Edward Sutton, Raymond Sutton, Marge Bailey, Irene Perry and Dennis Sutton.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Serhan; his grandchildren, Jared and Jennah; and his siblings, Doris Langerud, Arthur Sutton (Shirley), Janet Smith, Dorothy McNeal (Richard), Earl Sutton (Hazel) and Kay Wendland.
