He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Dougall and Ninian Dougall; his brother Galen; his former wives, Wendy and Dorry; and his sibling's children, Danielle and Andy.

He is survived by: his children, Darryl and Shelley (Matt); his grandchildren, Justin, Brennan and Harrison; his great grandchild Myla; his stepgrandchildren, Scotty and Serenity; his siblings, Ninian (Helen), Lane (Faye) and Marg (Don); and his sister-in-law Leola. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
