With solemn reverence, we commemorate Russell Griffin of Prince George, British Columbia, whose life came to an end on October 14, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Russell Griffin and Hazel Ardeline Fisher Griffin; and his brothers, Oliver Daniel "Dan" Griffin and William "Kip" Clifton Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Rita Merhout Griffin; his children, Kelly Filizola and Christopher Griffin (Stacey); his grandchildren, Madeleine Filizola, Katherine Griffin and Nathan Griffin; and his brother Robert Griffin (Judy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and good friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery (5515 Red Oak Rd, Battleboro, NC 27868).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wayne's name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 223 W. Jackson Blvd., Suite 350, Chicago, IL 60606.
