He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his siblings, Floyd DeMerchant, Dale DeMerchant and Jean Rounds; his niece Lori Moog; and his nephews, Kenny DeMerchant and Wade DeMerchant.
He is survived by: his children, Sharlene (Rod), Shawn (Carmen) and Steven (Susan); his grandchildren, Ryan, Julia, Tommy, Samantha and Kyle (Carey); and his great grandchildren, Evan and Jaxxon.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prince George Civic Centre (808 Canada Games Way, Prince George, BC V2L5T6).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Prince George Hospice House, a place of great comfort and care.
