It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elfriede Niessen (Qualicum Beach, British Columbia), who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha and Adolf; her husband Jake; her son Roy; and her siblings, Walter, Helmut, Doris, Anneliese, Hannah and Siegfried.
She is survived by: her daughter Lily (Paul); her sister Irmgard; her daughter-in-law Becky; her grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew and Kevin; and her great grandchildren, Emmerich, Hendrix, Blakely and Von.
The building she lived in for 37 years had a swimming pool, and up until March, 2020, when they closed the pool due to covid, swimming was part of mom's daily routine.
