He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Violet Hall, Jim Merchel (Sylvia), Ron Merchel (Darla), Mike McCubbing (Deanna) and Johnny McCubbing (Crystal); his grandchildren, Kristin, Dakota, Judy, Julie, Benjamin, Abby, Ethan, Brenden, Evan, Jorja, Calissta and Kole; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Emma, Creedance, Emmy, Sophia and Vienna; and his siblings, Paul McCubbing and Mary Birss (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
