We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2025, Lori McCaughey (Qualicum Beach, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Lori shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lori farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William McCaughey and Margaret McCaughey. She is survived by: her sister Lynn (Romanchych); her sibling's children, Erin (Julian Franch), Addison, Raegan of Ontario and Ben of British Columbia; and her aunts, Edith and Jean.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Catholic Church of the Ascension (887 Wembley Rd, Parksville, BC V9P2E6).
