With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael William Reid (Qualicum Beach, British Columbia), born in Penticton, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Don Reid; his nephews, David Scott Conroy and Michael Vaughan; his sons, Russell (Shauna) and Christopher (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Eric, Brooklyn and Liam; his siblings, Carol Howie of Kamloops, Judy Vaughan of Cranbrook, Doug Reid of Nanaimo, Terry Reid, Shelley Reid and Bev Reid of Vancouver; his parent Michael; Judy Reid. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre (747 Jones St, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 1S7).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Paul's Sinus Centre.
